Ratings are our editors’ scores from one public rubric (COA, price per mg, delivery, returns, vendor reputation). They are not customer reviews. How we review
There is one oral BPC-157 product on this site: Real Peptides' BPC-157 Capsules, at $120.00 (US dollars) for a bottle of 100 capsules. That is $1.20 per capsule, and nearly three times the $43.20 price of the same vendor's 10 mg powder vial. Oral BPC-157 is the most expensive way to buy the compound that we cover.
Here, we will discuss what a capsule product consists of, what the vendors say about it, how cost-effective it is, and additional information of value to UK purchasers. BPC-157 is an unapproved research substance in any form.
According to the Real Peptides listing, there are three things: the product comes as oral capsules, each bottle contains 100 capsules, and third-party COA testing of the product is conducted. However, information about the amount of BPC-157 per one capsule is not provided.
That missing figure matters. Without the content per capsule, you cannot work out a price per mg, and you cannot compare the bottle fairly with a vial. Check the product page and the COA for the stated content before ordering. If the vendor cannot tell you the content per capsule, we would treat that as a reason to wait rather than guess.
According to Real Peptides, capsules have the merit of being convenient for oral research, as there is no powder being used. Their own limitations, however, include: a per mg price that is much higher than that of vials; greater expected bioavailability than the injectable format; and a $120 cost for every bottle.
BPC-157 has gained more attention compared to other peptides as an oral product because it is derived from a protein in the gastric juice. There is a lot of published research on this peptide from studies conducted on rodents, and one of the greatest organs studied is the gastrointestinal tract together with muscle and tendon.
That does not mean oral use works in people. Human data on BPC-157 is limited to small, uncontrolled studies, and there are no controlled human trials showing benefit by any route. Any seller claiming capsules will heal your gut or joints is making the kind of medicinal claim the MHRA is investigating. Under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, that sort of claim can bring a product within medicines law.
On listed prices, capsules cost far more than powder. The comparison below uses only the figures our data states.
| Product | Format | Price (USD) | What you can compare |
|---|---|---|---|
| BPC-157 Capsules (Real Peptides) | 100 oral capsules | $120.00 | $1.20 per capsule |
| BPC-157 10mg (Real Peptides) | 10 mg powder vial | $43.20 | $4.32 per mg |
| BPC-157 (Peptide God) | Powder vial | $34.95 | Size not stated in our data |
Peptide God does not have a capsule product in the range we cover. For a wider look at cost, including bundles, see our BPC-157 price page.
A bottle priced at $120.00 is under Real Peptides' $250 free shipping limit, as that is a US term. In any situation, we have yet to verify if Real Peptides ships to the UK, so please check with the vendor before proceeding.
Capsules are not exempt from import rules. A parcel coming from the US can attract VAT or duty and can be held by Border Force, and you will be charged in USD with possible card fees. Our UK delivery guide covers what to expect.
The biggest error I’ve come across is considering capsules as a kind of supplement. They are not. The BPC-157 capsules have the same status of research use as the powder and changing the physical form does not alter this fact in any way.
The COA of the capsule must note the purity and BPC-157 content of the given batch, corresponding to its batch number indicated on the bottle. Real Peptides states that it provides COAs from third parties according to each batch.
If the COA covers only the raw peptide and not the finished capsules, it tells you less about what is in each capsule. Our COA guide goes through the details. If you are thinking about BPC-157 because of a gut or joint problem, your GP or pharmacist is the right person to speak to.
